NoMoSno

At the beginning of my Entrepreneurship class, everyone in my class had to brainstorm ideas for their own company. The people with ideas that gained the most votes from other classmates became class CEO’s, and were given the ability to interview students for a position in their company. I happened to get voted as a CEO, my idea being to create a product that would melt snow as it falls, eliminating the need for shoveling and protecting your car from the elements. And thus, NoMoSno was born. My team and I came up with two main products, Polar Cloak and Polar Tarp. Polar Cloak is meant to be placed over your car to protect it from harsh weather, and the Polar Tarp covers your driveways and sidewalks, giving them the effect of a heated driveway.

Although we never physically created the product, we had to think about all the theoretical components involved with building a company from the ground up. At the very end of the class, we had a competition to see which companies stood out the most and NoMoSno won second place. The winners of the in class competition competed in one more round of voting, but this time it was class vs. class. The video below is what the judges watched to determine the winners, and for the second time NoMoSno got second place.
